A Picture Says a Thousand words-Staff Workshop March 2025

In March, our staff workshop focussed on how we could together help the team to become a well -oiled machine. We spoke about how our experiences filter through to the children, how our attitudes impact the children and how in the end each one of us bring something special to the team.

One of the exercises was a simple exercise where you in a group of 6, are asked to follow instruction given by the facilitator. Each group had a different background colour paint
Each person could paint their shapes which ever colour they wanted and some shapes overlapped – you could choose which ever shape / colour would overlap in your picture
When we got back together after painting, and we put our paintings together, it fitted into a bigger picture.

This activity was so significant – at the end of the activity –  we realise that when we work in a team, everybody bring their special skills to the team and work towards a common goal and achieve the success when we look at the bigger picture.
We ended off  with a gratitude jar whereby  we had the opportunity to mention something that you admire or a complement to a colleague – and offering them one of your sweets/ chocolates with a message.
