Walking Bus Members – Feeding Drive
The “Walking Bus” members of Clarke Estate arranged a Food drive on Saturday, 13th November 2021. For those of you who do not know, this is a community initiative whereby children are chaperoned to school and back home in order to protect them from perpetrators, targeting children walking alone. As you know in our communities, children were abducted frequently – and this is the way the community is helping working parents by keeping children safe. This all started with the Departments slogan of “your child is my child”.
CTMSC was able to contribute donations of vegetables and we “paid it forward” towards the big pots of food they made for the Food drive. See all the children who benefitted from this drive. We wish to thank these ladies for the work they do in the community and helping to protect our children.
