Soccer Fanatics
The boys are Soccer fanatics and on Saturday they played at the Soccer turf field -Fives Futbol at Vangate Mall. They played against some of the boys from Soccer 4 all and was very excited. It was great to see them in action on the field. Our boys come from disadvantaged communities and we understand that they are constantly disappointed by adults even sometimes their own families, but here we had the coach of “Soccer 4 all” understanding their aggression, their anger and noticed their potential. Yes, our boys need anger management tools and even skills to address their uncontrollable emotions – but most of all I know, they need to be able to trust the adults that are part of their lives.
They push boundaries and they struggle to follow rules but with more consistency and continuity and trust, they will conquer their emotional challenges and address their anger issues.
