Pre Grade R – Introducing Technology in the class
We often see young children playing games on their parents phones or tablets/ computers – and at the beginning of the year – thanks to our sponsors, Weideman Family Donation and StreetsmartSA funding, we were able to purchase tablets for the children to use in class – These tablets have pre set educational activities and strategic games ranging from playing piano to matching pictures – these pre-loaded activities can keep the children busy when teacher Natasha is helping one of the other struggling learners – or when children arrive at 7h00 in the morning , they can play individually and learn while doing the activities and play strategic games. While their teacher, set out their daily worksheets – It’s fun to see them trying to help each other – great initiative for peer education.
